Our 4th, 5th and 6th graders look forward to the annual Shooting Stars Mission Trip in Galveston, TX. Each year, they head out in early June for Galveston for three days, where they will help Turtle Island Restoration clean beaches, Galveston Food Bank fill kid packs with food,  & G.U.M. (Galveston Urban Ministries) with various volunteer outreach they have lined up. These kids pack a lot of mission work into three days, but still get plenty of time to visit water parks, relax at the beach, and play a lot of 9-square.
