Info coming soon!

In the Music, Arts, and Drama (M.A.D.) Club kids explore faith and life through creative ways as we all learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We ask that they come sing in a worship service at St. John Lutheran Church about once a month. This includes the two big events of the Christmas Pageant and the Spring Musical.

This group is for Kindergarten - 5th grade. The kids are picked up from school using our church van. They have a snack together and then have music and other activities with M.A.D. Club until 5:00 pm each Wednesday during the school year.

A place where the adventure of Camp Hope continues with Music, Art, Drama, and many more exciting activities!

first communion class

Once or twice a year we hold a short class to teach our children about the sacrament of Holy Communion.

While all are welcome to come and receive communion regardless of age, we do ask that youth from Kindergarten - 5th Grade come to this class at least once to learn about what it means to receive the body and blood of Christ.

While any baptized child can begin taking communion whenever the parents feel they are ready, we feel it is important to educate our kids so they can begin to understand the gift they are receiving. We will learn about the sacrament of the Eucharist, why we receive it each week, and what it means for us and God. We will also practice taking communion in the sanctuary.

We will then invite our students to celebrate their first communion the following weekend, TBD.
